Illmatic Energy is a newly formed limited company that has vast experience in the Oil & Gas industry and is now utilizing these transferable skills to incorporate into the Renewable Energy sector. The company aspires to become a fully integrated energy company that can offer technical and commercial expertise to the energy industry. 

We are passionate about the energy Industry and we would like to play a part in developing and sustaining both Clean Tech and Oil & Gas industries throughout the energy transition . We can leverage our experiences in the oil and gas industry where we have worked the entire lifecycle of major international projects to help guide and support Renewable Energy projects in each phase of their development.

The Team

Illmatic Energy was founded by James White in 2020.
James is a driven and experienced professional with extensive experience as a lead geoscientist leading large teams to deliver projects on time and within budget. A natural leader who strives for technical excellence and has the ability to integrate large and varied datasets in multi-disciplined high performing teams.
James has liaised with Government and joint venture partners to help drive business and was part of a new business development team to explore new country entries as well as expand and develop in existing regions.

James has worked in the global oil and gas industry in a fast changing, agile and highly regulated environment. He has excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills and has the ability to translate complex technical concepts to a tech and non-tech audience. He has a track record of building relationships, trust and engaging with senior stakeholders alongside a collaborative approach when working cross functionally.

Whilst working for Tullow Oil James was involved in numerous projects across the Oil & Gas lifecycle. Notable projects include; the Ceiba and Okume fields in Equatorial Guinea, the Jubilee and TEN developments in Ghana, exploration seismic and drilling campaigns in Guyana and the first deep-water well offshore Peru.
